  • Mandan Sports & Recreation Rendezvous on Main 
    May 22, 2010


    Featuring recreational vehicles, boats, ATVs, motorcycles, trailers, pickups and more.  Confirmed vendors are Corral Sales, Riverwood RV, Capitol RV, Moritz Sport and Marine, River City Sports, Scooter Shack, Cycle Hutt, Roughrider Harley-Davidson, Action Sports, Open Road Honda, Planet Power Sportz, Dakota Country Spas, Ressler Chevrolet-Subaru, Bill Barth Ford-Kia, Theodore Roosevelt Medora Foundation, Keller Hearth & Home, ABC Seamless, Executive Air Taxi, Gasoline Alley Magazine, Larson Creative Concepts, D&S Trailer & Auto Sales, Gibbons Fiberglass & Aluminum Boat Repair, Alltel/Select Communications, Trailer Light Check, Anytime Fitness, ABC Boat Docks, Scuba One Travel, and Barbeqube.com.  Speed TV"s Jason Britton and Team Faith featuring Kenny "The Cowboy" Bartram will make appearances to sign autographs.  Acres of Iron Car Show will be held in conjunction with the Sport Show, over 100 classic cars will participate.  There will be seminars on boating safety, camping, mountain biking, and more.  Plenty of food vendors will line Main Street.  JT Inflatable games will provide entertainment for the kids.  Live music will entertain visitors at Heritage Park.  Central Market will Pit BBQ a beef on Main Street beginning the Friday of the event and we will remove it from the pit Saturday afternoon, the public is invited to come downtown and watch it get dug out of the pit.  A roast beef dinner will then be served from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Heritage Park along with a beer garden and live music.  There will be Cloverdale hotdogs and brats, Kettle corn, Mini Donuts, and Papa Murphys Pizza also available.  This event is free and open to the public with a nominal fee charged for the Beef Pit BBQ.  This is a family event with something for everyone!  More information can be found by clicking here.
  • Buggies-n-Blues -- June 12-13, 2010


    A classic car show and music festival hosted by the Musicians Association, the Mandan Progress Organization and local car clubs.

  • Mandan Rodeo Days - July 1-4, 2010

    The Mandan Rodeo Days Celebration from July 1-4 offers three action-packed professional rodeo performances, Art In the Park, concerts, dancing, baseball, an all-class reunion -- plus the biggest and best Fourth of July parade and fireworks celebration in the Northern Plains!

  • Spirit of the West Grill Fest - August 20-21, 2010

    A celebration of Mandan's farming and ranching heritage to include grilling competitions in pro and novice divisions in categories to include beef, pork, poultry and more. Funding opportunities available

The City of Mandan, as funding allows, may make contributions to organizations that work for the betterment of the local community. This funding should add to the economic well-being of the community and/or increase the quality of life. The City is using a subcommittee of the Mandan Progress Organization to provide recommendations to the Mandan Board of City Commissioners. Recommendations will be based upon information supplied with the application and shall be final.
